6’ 9” Modern Fish - “The Diversion”

Length: 6’ 9"
Nose Width: 16 1/2””
Overall Width: 22 3/4"
Wide Point: 3” Forward
Tail Width: 17 1/4“
Thickness: 2 3/4” to 3”
Tail Shape: Swallowtail
Fin Layout: quad setup
Bottom Design: single concave to double barrel concave, vee out the tail
Design Date: July 2014

This design represents our most recent fish design and builds on the previous design featured below.

It moves the wide point a lot further back and increases the width a lot in order to add a lot more spring in the outline. The goal was to introduce a lot more curve into the tail area of the board to get away from the very straight tail outline common in the Lis-style fishes. All of this was geared towards enhanced turning ability.

The bottom features a strong concave through the center of the board, through into a deep double barreled concave around the fin area, finally with a vee out through the tail. This bottom provides an excellent combination of speed and maneuverability, especially when compared to the traditional fish.

The rocker is more like that of a modern short board but with less nose rocker.

The rails feature our standard hard tucked edge the full length of the board for increased release and bite during turns.

Unlike, the previous design this one uses a quad setup for increased versatility, speed and turning ability!

This design features a full length V-Lam deck to enhance the flex characteristics of the board and to improve durability!

5’ 9” Retro Fish - “Da Slippah”

Length: 5' 9"
Nose Width: 16"
Overall Width: 20 3/4"
Wide Point: 6" Forward
Tail Width: 16"
Thickness: 2 1/2"
Tail Shape: Swallowtail
Fin Layout: Glass-on keel fins
Bottom Design: slight single concave - channeled concave between fins
Design Date: September 2011

This design represents our most recent fish design and follows the classic Lis-style fish outline, but with a completely modern bottom and rail design.

The bottom features a very soft concave through the center of the board, then through the tail there is a channeled concave between the glass-on keel fins that extends from about 22" up from the tail down through the swallow tail throat.

The rails feature our standard hard tucked edge the full length of the board for increased release and bite during turns.

The fins are keels made from a combination of bamboo and G-10 glass, double foiled and glassed onto the board.

The most recent version of this design also added a concave deck for increased performance and additionally utilized the V-Lam full length on the deck for strength and durability.

Pure Fun!
